    Re: HP M880 41.07.12 (13/14)

Please note that any error beginning with 41.*.*.* is never hardware issue.
The user had mentioned changing the 'duplex unit, all pick up assemblies but yet i still receive this message'.

Maybe something else happened to solve the settings as you were changing the hardware.

Hi Kay-manie, the response you gave sounds like something directly from a "hp support technician" sitting behind a desk with zero qualifications. Who cant tell the difference between a printer and a laptop.

I initially followed hps instructions of "make sure the paper guides are correct" and that "the right paper size is selected"

If you notice in my original post that i state it happened only when duplexing! what software selection must i select to rectify this? I tried firmware, software, drivers, settings, cold reset etc. to no avail.

By trial and error i can confirm that the fix was 100% the duplexing feed assembly. The pages were slipping causing a 41.xx error.

    Thank you SeniorTech,

You might have a point in your logical approach, but in all my 20years of Printer repairs, I have never changed any part to resolve a 41.xx.xx error.
Plus, here in Africa, and maybe in your country, a quack tech nevers opens a HP M880. It costs like a car.
