Reset of Drum on a LJ8000

Is there a reset for the laserjet 8000 or does it reset when a new drum is installed

New drum, that is where your toner is, so resetting it would just make you run out of toner.

when you are out of toner and you put in a new one the printer recognizes that its new. There is no need to reset. Only when you replace a fuser or maintenance kit will you need to reset the count.
