    HP/4000/ Laser unit

    HI,
    Im going to swap a laser unit from one machine to another(to see if I have intermiddant problem with one unit)..Is there aqnything I need to do other then to just put unit in machine. Do I need to change any settings,and if so how ?

    Nope just swap it out, it's easy,are you getting a laser code?A

    Every laser I've ever installed is plug-and-play. A few have image squareness adjustments in the mounting, but nothing that would prevent printing. I don't thing that the 4000 has any image adjustments on the laser mount. =^..^=

    Do yourself a favor. Buy a manual and read up on your problem before posting. I enjoy helping those that are willing to help themselves. =^..^=

    No Im not getting a code(I have EXTREMELY rare quality issue) Thanks for help

    PS :As for not reading manual first ,its a time issue with me.I work 7 days (and nites,3,4 ,5,6 AM very erractically at 3 Different jobs just trying to pay my rent) I know I look for help that I could research more thouroughly but I really am on extremely tight scheduele)
