    HP 4200 tray lift

I am working on a 4200 that the tray will not lift on. I replaced the lift motor and it still will not work. It plugs into the DC controller so that would be my next thing to replace, however since I can't return the DC controller if I buy it, I was wondering if someone else has had this problem.

    TRAY

Have you install another tray and see if it worked?

Yes I swapped trays first. I just did not want to find out there was some magic reset I did not know about, I have had a lot of firmware issues lately on HP. Thanks for the replies.

I also believe you are on the right path... been awhile, but I think I had one of these also a long time ago. A init wouldn't hurt, but I don't think that helps with mech failures on HP's all that much. Let us know how you make out.
