    fuser noise on HP2420

MOrning all, just wondering if anyone had any tips for this problem, I have a HP 2420 with poor copy quality due to a faulty fuser, I have replaced the fuser, but with the new fuser in it makes a loud grinding noise as if the gears are not meshing correctly, took the new one out, put old back in, no noise, spoke to the supplier who mentioned something about a "drive train" may need replacing, but looking on the parts list im a little unsure which part this is.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    (1) RU5-0378: GEAR, 20-TOOTH, FUSER DRIVE
    (1) RU5-0379: GEAR, 19-TOOTH, FUSER DRIVE
    (1) RU5-0331: GEAR, FUSER, 29-TOOTH

    (1) RC1-3610: BUSHING, LOWER PRESSURE ROLLER, LEFT
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".

The funny part is that the machine doesn't get really noisy until you replace the fuser. Then it sounds like it's going to jump right off the desk.

I bought a couple of these kits from TSA and it works as advertised. Thanks, prntrfxr. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
