Exclamation hp cm1312 mfp

I have a hp cm1312 mfp the problem is the colors misplace out of aligment I try to calibrate 4 time ; firmware has been update; all four toner cartridges has been replace same problem. Hp told me to replace the formater board and dc controller after these parts has been replace the problem has not been fix. This printer still under warranty .Any suggest?

i'm not familiar with this unit, but most color registration problems result from toner being in a place it is not supposed to be.

Start by removing all cartridges and ITB. Clean the entire cavity and all cartridges. Clean the color registration detector (usually located at above the ITB). Clean all scanner lenses. Try replacing the offending color cartridge to see if the problem goes away. Hope this helps you. Please post resolution to assist others.

Do you have a company near you that does HP warranty repair?
If so take it to them. That way hp has to pay for the repair and not your customer.
