Hp sanjet 7800

My hp scanjet 7800 give some error during scanning sometimes "04" and "08" sometimes it's feed more than 2 pages at the time .
It's a brand new scanner 2 month old. Any idea what the problem can be?

Know nothing about this model, but a quick search produced the 04 as being a paper jam and the 08 to be a cover open. Sounds like you either have a broken locking mech that keeps top cover closed (remember, this is also the top half of your paper path) or a sensor issue. Make sure you have no broken plastic and that cover is staying closed and not opening when running or just not closing properly. Also, check sensors/flags for proper operation/sticking. Good luck.
