HP Laserjet 2840 Copying Issue

Have a HP Jaserjet 2840 that has a copying issue.

When copying in black and white the copies come out as per that attachment. This is both from ADF and the glass.

When copying in colour the copies come out fine.

Prints and faxes come out fine.

Any ideas? Thanks

looks like a CCD issue. Are the connections between the ADF and the printer connected good? Try reseating them.
