Oh I know, was first thought I had as well. Thanks for your help though. Still working on the firmware update. I might try to do the easy install from one of the end users computers that connected to the printer. Or via usb on mine computer as I have drivers. I have heard though the usb does not always go so well.

Use a cross over cable from a laptop to the network port on the printer.
This isolates the process from outside interferance.
The web interface will still work.
The more I think about it the upper unit will need replaced.
The customer may not like the cost.
