HP 4345 mfp - clearing Usage Page count

I know you can clear or reset the page count for the Device Information page and put in a new serial number. But we need to clear or reset the page count for the Usage page. We had to swap out a formatter with one from a new machine and now the new machine show 588,793 copies instead of 256. Is there any way to do this?

    Thanks

I believe an NVRAM init will do this? I haven't been working on these long, but I believe that will do it.

turn on, wait for ram to show. press and hold 9 until all three lights stay on. press 3 1 time then start then press 3 two times unitil it says NVRAM init, then press 6.

you have to go into service mode and enter the 8 digit pin code. I would give you the pin but not at my office currently.

I got the code and have done about everything but the NVRAM clear. Will have to look and see what it will clear if I do this.

    Thanks

Once you key in the pin code you should be able to go to page count and change the page count.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".
