HP CP 6015 is there a way to reset fuser chip

I have an HP CP6015 that we are unable to get the fuser. It is not available. It looks like everybody in the country is waiting for them as well according to the parts house.
Is there a reset chip I can buy for this, or a way to reset the chip using a computer program or any other way.
Desperate, oh it is a CB457A fuser 110-120 vac

not that I know of. HP is selling the fuser under 2 different numbers. The fuser under the number you gave is $200+ (unavailable) and the same exact fuser is sold under Q3931-67914 for $1000+ (last I checked this was available). Of course, the $200 one is the one you can't get. Don't ask me why HP did this one.

The gears that drive the fuser go bad sometimes too.

Found one at $380. Dont know the source as I didn't ask that. Even called HP. There aren't any to be had anywhere unless your lucky. Still would like to hack the chip. I will look at it and see if I can just in case this happens again.
