    HP9000

i keep getting a 50.3 error. i have replaced LVPS and Fuser (twice). reseated fuser several times. accordin to what i found it could also be an upper cable guide assy or a DC controller.

i have a 8000 that just came in. will those parts interchange?

50.3 is high fuser temp. Could be upper cable guide, but more apt to be DC Controller at this stage as the voltage comparisons are read and adjusted by the DC Controller. Make sure this printer is plugged directly into the outlet not a surge protector.

HP 8000 and 9000 are very different machines and the parts are not interchangeable.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".
