Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.
Is the motor turning at all? The motor drives the main gear drive. The p/u solenoid permits the pick-up roller gear to turn with the gear drive at certain times.
Troubleshooting Conditions
If the connection linkage to the gear is broken or out of position, roller won't turn. Might be accompanied by noise.
If the p/u gear is broken, roller won't turn. Might be accompanied by noise.
It the solenoid sticks, roller sometimes turns.
If the solenoid fails to move, main drive gears turn but p/u gear does not.
If the main motor fails, no gear movement at all.
If the main drive asm fails, noise would likely be present. Either grinding or seized up sound.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!".
