Adding Memory to an HP5si

I\'m going to install extra memory in someones HP 5si printer, do I need to do anything other then just plugging it in? Do I need to tell the machine it\'s in there or does it know on it\'s own?

It should be plug and play, just check the status page to make sure the machine recognizes it.
