My customer's printer will not print red. They installed a new red oem cartridge and I cleaned every contact I could find. It started printing some red after I cleaned the machine, but it's not consistant across across the page. Any ideas?
Just dealt with exact same problem. You will have to open up the laser unit and clean mirrors etc. I've attached step by step procedure I got from Liberty Parts Team. They are terrific. Check them out. Good luck.
To be honest with you, we figured minimum 1 hour max 2 hour. But since this customers machine had a pretty high print count (don't remember off the top of my head) my boss got involved and is suggesting replacing it.
