I used standard single ended low ESR capacitors 220uF/16V. There is plenty of space on the board so there is no need to use surface mount subminiatures. There are four other locations with soldering pads for capacitors shown on the component placement imprint. I think these capacitors where planed to reduce the noise on the supply voltage, but the circuit worked also without those caps, so they could save some cents.
