HP Color LaserJet 3000n Throwing a 13.20.00 randomly?

We have a HP Color LaserJet 3000n Throwing a 13.20.00 randomly on start-up the display says "13.20.00"

On start up it releases the pressure on the fuser and when it clicks and pops open the top cover a little



Right after it does this it throws the jam code?

It sometimes does it and works fine until it wakes back up (after sleep mode) or you turn it off then on again

What we Tried:

Replace the whole fuser gear assembly (which is only all one unit)
Replace with a New Fuser
Replaced pressure sensor on the assembly

Any ideas or anyone been having this issue?

I have never seen that problem sorry, but i would upgrade or replace it
You can find those 3000 series for very cheap right now, less than those parts you put in it.

Then I guess every post on this forum is unnecessary except yours.

Also manuals do not contain every answer. If they were perfect then manufacturers wouldn't have to ever make revisions to them nor would they have to create bulletins for newly found issues that are not covered in service manuals. Just my 2 cents.

13.20 is a generic error that can be anywhere in the printer. Go to diagnostics and do a sensor test. Find out which sensor is giving the error and start from there (troubleshooting section of manual should walk you through it.

Usually it is a bad fuser. Interior gear teeth break, pressure spring out of of position, or bad sensor. Cheap plastic so things break easy. Even OEM break in shipping.

Check your event log for other errors

I Now have a CP3505 doing pretty much the same thing it's making a grinding noise and then throwing the same code. I also still have the issue with the first one i posted doing the same thing! Help anyone Have any Ideas?
