HPLJ 4345 MPF Jamming on Legal Size only
Hi All,
I am working on a HP LJ 4345 MFP that only wants to jam on Legal size paper.
If I copy to Letter size or print to LEtter size there is no issue with it jamming.
IF I copy or print to Legal size then it wants to keep jamming.
I am getting Error Code 13.33.00 which of course means jam in top cover area.
What could cause this type of jamming.
I have tried removing all rollers and cleaning with alcohol.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Ike

Well, I'll be danged
It ended up being a piece of card stock caught in the very far edge of the top cover.
It was in a place that when using letter size it would not effect the paper path, but when you used legal it was catching the paper and causing a jam.
can't say for sure how it ended up in the copier, looks like part of a small box (packing for envelopes, tape,...).
Weird!\

Good you found the problem typing takes to long.
jam is in reverse unit, paper not getting to ps109. try printing legal face up to see if you get a jam. since letter is not jamming going face down exit, could be something with reverse unit as 14 inch paper would go further back into reverse unit. if printing face up does not jam for legal then it would be in reverse unit guides. if it does jam in face up may be a control board issue. also make sure the tray is set for legal paper.
