HP 4250TN running slow
Anyone seen a 4250TN suddenly start running about half speed when printing? It's not the network as the customer has several printers and the problem follows this printer. I've checked the paper settings and changed the formatter. Same result. It warms up at normal speed, but prints slow. Any ideas?

Re: HP 4250TN running slow
What driver are you using?
I recommend you use the PCL5.
The PCL 6 and universal driver have a lot running in the back ground and will slow things down.

Re: HP 4250TN running slow
I don't know. They have several printers. It only effects this one printer no matter what station they put it at. Same driver is driving all their printers. This one suddenly started running slow. It's not a network issue. It's in the printer.

Isn't the firmware in the formatter? The firmware upgrades the DC controller?

If you have second optional tray, try to remove away from machine and test
