    HP LJ P3015 Jam/CQ

I went to an HP LJ P3015 today. They said it jams and give voided areas. An example is attached. Of course it worked fine while I was there. They said it normally does it in the mornings. It is in a controlled environment, so moisture in paper is not an issue. My thought is its stalling under the cartridge, which cause the voided area. But notice in the middle where it squeezed the image.

Thought I would throw this out there for those who service printers a lot.

I forgot to attach the example. Its Friday at 4:00 and the weather this weekend is great. Time to go. See next post.

I'd suspect that they're using re-manufactured cartridges, and this particular one is intermittently difficult to turn, stalling the main drive motor. As a result, you'll get compressions, lack of development, late image registration, and jamming. Try swapping in an OEM cartridge. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks everyone. They are using compatible cartridges. I'll let them know.

I've seen compatibles where the drum gear wasn't glue to the drum causing stretched images but that definitely looks like cartridge
