Definitely upgrade the firmware on this model. What fuser error? Wrong fusers?

Seems like I had a P4015 that kept giving memory full errors. I had tried to run the firmware update but it wasn't working (I don't remember what the problem was). I finally replaced the formatter and everything ran fine.

Have you tried an NVRAM init? If not, make sure you print out all the settings and counts before you do, as the printer will erase everything.
Also if you do a firmware upgrade, certain models or versions could be buggy, and you'll need to remove all peripherals before you do a firmware upgrade. Extra trays, or a duplexer usually.

    Re: Hp 4015X/Memory full ERROR

Updating firmware on modern HP equipment is usually really easy, and from what I've seen it never hurts, so do that if you want.
But it would be helpful to know the exactly what the "memory full error" you are encountering is. I can't be sure that a firmware upgrade will help with this problem otherwise.

    I second this.
Although, I have never seen an HP model number with the suffix "X", so I might be thinking of the wrong model.
cucuklotz, if time permits, the full model number would be be helpful.
    Thanks.
