pjl commands for 4250/update formatter and model #

did a full NVRAM reset and need to put the model # and formatter # back in. I actually need to do this on an ongoing basis. I am hoping for a quick solution where I can build a text file and use the web jet PJL utility to send it. Long term I need a script where I can add them quickly or do multiple machines at once based on IP address.

But for now I just need the basic PJL commands to do this

try this , after the = for model number. s/n and formatter number you would put in your info. use notepad or other text editor. open cmd and use ftp ip address then press enter for user name and enter for password , then type put drag your pjl file to the cmd window, it show up right after the put command(see example). then press enter, it should send the file to the printer. if something prints out instead of the printer being updated, then you would have to contact HP support to have them create a Multi Byte file. Certain info works with text file , other info needs Multi Byte file from HP(protect HP prodcts, from the bad guys.
