These machines are Jamamatics. The diagnostic codes suck also. 13.0000 is also jam at the tray so its hard to tell what's actually jamming. Is it still on warranty?
I always check that. HP will give you a replacement machine. I would then change the Fuser Assembly. Good Luck

I have same problem with the same device. Only jams with 2-sided printing and help to be found. And unfortunately no warranty left also.

Have you checked the little blue lever at the back of the machine. Looking at the back it is in the bottom left corner behind the lower cover. It movies the duplex tray guides depending on which size paper is loaded.
Where exactly is the paper stopping and is it crumpled up as in something is blocking the paperpath or just stopped like a sensor is not registering. Also worth pulling out the sensor assy from underneath the machine and checking the sensor flags are ok. The pickup assy is also part of the duplex paperpath and in this thing isn't even an orderable part on this as far as i know and is a big job to remove. HP don't even give the procedure in the manual. Looks like you may have to split the frame to remove it.

Yes, have checked the sensor flags. The blue lever at the back is set correct also. Paper is just stopping in duplex. First edge just a little up into pickup path/way. And after this occurs its sometimes hard to get device back in order cause even after clearing path, checking all doors and even moveing over sensor flags, the jam wont clear. After doing few times liek this it randomly clears. This device started to have this problem with counter on 15k. After that its been used only has 1 sided printer in other workgroup but 2-sided is need still sometimes.

Sounds like perhaps a faulty sensor or engine board.

I now have a machine same model with phantom jams. Full clean reseat all connectors clean sensors replace t2 pick roll and Sep Pad. No change. Latest firmware loaded aswell. Factory reset and check all pc and printer settings. Customer is getting equivalent to 13.20 jams but of course this machine logs all jams as 13.0000. Was wondering what solved the jam issues for the previous posters. Cheers
