Just wondering if many are seeing similar problems with these like in the 4250 series? Are you replacing these often or at all?
Thanks

I've been lucky enough to have not needed to replace one yet. They made the swing plate gears much thicker in these series and beyond, but it still does happen. There's instructions out there for replacement on these machines.

I replace these quite a bit. They wear just like the 4350 series. I do think they are better design but when they start wearing they get loud as hell. So, people in a real quiet location may complain before they're totally wiped out.

Just as with the 4250 I recommend changing the gears as an assembly. Make sure your fuser bushings are good I normally replace the fuser with it just to be safe.

The aftermarket plastic gears seem to wear out continuously, some at very low page counts.
