Cant believe im posting about this piece of junk( hp 7610 wide format)

HI Anyone know how to replace printhead on this machine?Maybe its obvious but im just afraid of breaking something trying to do it. THANKS ANDY

HP wide format have both an ink cartridge and a print head.

Consult your Operator Manual for replacement procedure.
Google it, OP manuals are free downloads from the factory.

It has pictures, arrows and everything you need to know.

I can charge you $75 plus travel to spend 5 minutes to fix something I read how to solve by reading the OP manual or just by following the prompts on the control panel.

Seems cheaper to RTFB.

There are videos (or at least one, but it's in Spanish) on how to remove the print head from that printer. Looks like it's more trouble than it's worth! There's also some videos on how to clean the printheads using a solution.

I also don't know where you would find a replacement, but the part number is 5066-3649.. there's some on ebay around $40.

Hi Kiran Thank you for your post .My mistake was buying the printhead first and THEN looking to see the challenge in replacing it.I will though take a look a video just to see. Thanks again Andy
