1. Documents left in the queue. (30%)
2. Firmware needs to be updated. (50%)
3. Network setting issues/cabling (15%)

Yes good info. The firmware on these HPs are definitely important. A lot of 49 error fixes on HP firmware. Personally I see mostly from using the wrong driver.

49 errors are a big money maker for those accounts that pay per call. But wow--trying to convince IT that it's not the printer can be difficult. And then there's that small percentage when the machine actually DOES need a new formatter.
