Hp 3005 black copies and not reading toner cart

I had a printer giving intermittent black copies and misreading toner cart, which i thought was because of katun toner.

The problem was actually a faulty drum ground. The fix that seems to work is removing left side panel and taping a piece of cardboard to the levers that apply pressure to the drum ground. The katun toner turned out to be fine.

You are correct. I've seen this many times. I carry window strip insulaion for this fix. since it already has sticky tape on one side it works great.
