Quick question how to set Compact PDF as default scan setting

Hi all,

I need to ring a customer & talk them through setting PDF as the default scan file type, but I cant remember how to do this, any help pls?

Which manual is this in as I could send them it????

Go into the scan menu and set PDF compact as the file type...Depending on the MFP finding user mode can be slightly different, but assuming an e series....MENU/Utility/user settings/scanfax settings. Look for default scan settings. change from factory to current settings and that's it..If you are already on "current settings" just hit factory then current settings again. Same procedure for copy settings. (ie you want B&W as the default color settings. Emujo
