DF-611 on C550 with ADF jams

I don't know how many of you all are having intermittent jamming with code J-6602 or possibly code J-6603

Konica now has a new mod that may help. We have done it to a couple of our machines. Will let all know the outcome. But here is the modification and bulletin. I know I have several and they can drive one crazy. I sure hope that it helps

Thanks laserman, very helpful tip. We have used a different sep roller and lowered the sep spring tension to the lowest setting. The has improved the jamming by i would say 90%. however I will check into this Mod. Its good to see something form Konica on this issue.

If you don't mind me asking which sep roller did you use?

4582304701 This roller comes from the B350 Feed unit. Alot of tech at our branch are using these instead. It will work better but you have to lower the spring tension on the sep roller to the lowest setting.

    laserman06,
Can you clarify where exactly the screw should be inserted? By the pic it looks like the screw goes betweeen the cover and the spring idler.

Try this once. Maybe it works.
However, there is no 100% of solution.
There is meanwhile a modified (black) A01H561800 Lever.

    Hey, Dallas

I had the same problem with the df 611 Ive tried all the mods. Then my boss told me to bring a new one and guess what? lol the same thing, but this time the lift is black not white. I went ahead and put two screws in the same place . and now its been 2 weeks without a whisper.

    Hi texchar,
every tech on this planet have these problems with this bitchy DF, and meanwhile I believe, the KM Engineers have no idea to solve this problem. My impression is, they want to sit it out.
Maybe there is sometime a reasonable solution and preserves some tech from suicidial tendency .

hey, you want to something scary? take the cover off the top and and screw the 4 screws back in place. Then watch how the bottom frame bounces around as the rollers are picking up the papers.
