ive got the firmware downloaded from konica site but i cant fined the toolkit to write it to the flashcard.

if you are trying to find it on the konica web site, click on color MFP> Select any machine model.... C252 C650 etc > then select utilities> select show all
You will see cygwin, and firmware imaging toolkit. This same version can be used on all current color MFP devices at the present time as long as you select the latest version.

C253 just shows the Konica Minolta screen and don't go forward... should re-write the firmware to see if it would bring it back to life...
