I am not sure what context you are asking this in. Which relevant part of the machine are you referring this from, the print engine itself, or an external controller calibration???

If it is the print engine, depending on the line speed and dot/line types, maximum is 600dpi in that regard.

If it is gradation you are speaking of, 256 levels for each colour.

Outside of those two obvious details, I cannot find a correlation to what it is you are trying to ask.

Please clarify...
