7135 vs 420 drum and developer units
Anyone know if you can swap the Drum Assembly, complete, and the DV assembly from a 420 to a 7135? They look the same, but are sensors within the same?
Thanks!

Re: 7135 vs 420 drum and developer units
the 7145 is similar to the 420, not the 7135.
you can cheat like i do and search consumables on precisionroller.
if the part#s are the same i can cross but from what i see if the pics are accurate they are physically different.
here is a sample Konica Minolta bizhub 420 Drums
Konica Minolta 7135 Drums
they take different developer too. the 7135 uses 301k and the 420 uses 511k

Re: 7135 vs 420 drum and developer units
Another good trick is to download the full Parts Pricing List from Konica, then look up your part number. It's a quick way to get a list of machines that use the same parts, as well as finding updated part numbers ("NLA - Use ____ instead").

Re: 7135 vs 420 drum and developer units
Drums on the 7135 vs 7145 are different, the ends of the drums in which the shaft goes thru are different, over the years I have used and cross used the toners/developers for those machines, from the 7020's to the 7145's, no issues. When using the 7020 dv in a 7145, the c/q is rich and very good solids for over 100k.

So A 7135 and a 702 to use the same drum and developer units?

No, those are not. Very different.

Odd, 7022 parts look of identical, any idea what is different?

Re: 7135 vs 420 drum and developer units
FYI: I swapped DV unit and Drum Unit Assembly from 7022 to 7135 and it worked perfect. Only mod was swapped Toner Sensor on bottom of DV unit!
