    MINOLTA DIATA DI251

    Hello everyone,
It's been a while I try to unlock the c500 code on that machine but in vain.
Could someone know what this code means and how to unlock it please?

Try this thread from 2009. The code is a fuser code for not reaching the correct temp in time.

That code is usually a false code from, storm, power outage, spike, etc.

    procedure to reset:

Will need a large paper clip opened up.

On right side of op panel near the LCD contrast slider there is a little hole, use paper clip and press button inside hole, watch screen for a dot to appear on left side of screen, then press # 3, press trouble reset box on screen. Wait for re-boot and machine should come up to ready. Make a copy, if all good then turn machine off and back on to stop print light from flashing.

I seem to recall 10 years ago working on one of these machines for this problem and something was infact broken in relation to the fusing power cutoff switch that is actuated by the right side door. If the code does not reset and the fuser (new or otherwise) receives no power at all this is what to check next.

Yep, there's a black switch under the front cover being actuated by the gray arm on the side door which needs adjustment.
