    Rat invasion of FS612

Rats ate some cables on this FS612 connected to a C7000 and once the machine comes on it displays a paper jam in area 16 of the finisher and no other fault or jam code. I have tried to replace all the cables that were eaten and even the finisher and booklet maker boards without any difference. My question is where is area 16 on FS612 so that i can trace from the point of sensor causing the complaint. Thanks

Rodents also pee and poop all over the place, so look for that shorting something out.

    Hi,
    Turn dipswitch 11-7 on.
This will turn on the jam code display. You should then get a jam code (not just the screen indicating where the jam is). You should be able to then isolate down to which sensor is on when it shouldn't be.
    Hope this helps.
