    C220 Question

Customer just acquired a Freebie C220 with 7k prints. A Creampuff!
Wants the print default in Black.
I've looked thru the threads and some inquires on this issue suggest server print drivers, operating systems, etc.
Here is my simple question since I'm a simple Tech.
Can the Print Default be changed to black and inputted thru the box itself.
This is my first encounter with a KM C220 and haven't downloaded a SM yet.
    Thanks for all your suggestions.

    Re: C220 Question

For default black when copying you change it to black, then go into user settings, copier settings and select "use current settings"

For printing set up 2 drivers one color & one monochrome or grayscale. So the customer can select color or black as needed. Set the black as default printer and when they want color they select the color.

Ditto that. Even if you default the printer function to monochrome, a color selection in the print driver will override it. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
