    Hello out there
    My client has bought a used KM C284 from the auctions. I installed it on their network and all is O.K.except that the administrator password has been changed. I have tried the usual 12345678, 1234567812345678, 9272927292729272, password, etc but I cannot log in.Is there a way to reset the password back to default.

    go into tech rep, the stop 0C

    There is a firmware reset tool A145FW.TAR this will reset passwords to default

    Go to service manual, and STOP 0C, and change the password.
    Or replace FW..
