    C250 Firmware

Hi guys, a little guidance is required.

We have collected a fairly old KM C250 which we want to upgrade to the latest firmware. But I'm not entirely sure where to start.
I have printed off the Machine Management List which shows loads of firmware of differing versions.
I'm guessing that the "MFP Controller BOOT Program" is the most relevant one. It shows the following number.....4038-1E00-G00-000 46AC.
I've looked through the Infohub and also the Downloads site, but cannot find a reference to this. What version do I have ?
Also, which versions do I need to use as intermediate firware to reach the latest ?

    Thanks

    Tam

    firmware

The MFP controller is where you look. not the BOOT.

    the lateset firmware is 4038-0100-GW4-K0-000

the best way to check is look at the check sum. the newest should be 52D3.. the earlier versions are, from earliest to latest..

Thanks Selig67, I will look further in to it tomorrow at work.
The only reference numbers I have heard of before regarding firmware upgrades are Ph numbers. For example Ph2.00, Ph2.50, Ph2.35, and so on.

Ph= Phase ie Phase 2.00 etc, the lattest standard firmware realese for the UK is Phase 3.03, although there is a special version at Phase 3.05, I would just go for the 3.03.

How does the correlation work in respect of their checksum numbers as metioned by Stelig and the Phase number ?

    check sum

the check sum shows up on the managers list next to the firmware. just an easier way to look through all those numbers

I just browsed through the .pdf you sent me. It's really good - all you could ever want to know about firmware history - thanks for sending it
