Non-Volatile Random Access Memory (NVRAM) is a category of Random Access Memory (RAM) that retains stored data even if the power is switched off. NVRAM uses a tiny 24-pin dual inline package (DIP) integrated circuit chip, which helps it to gain the power required to function from the CMOS battery on the motherboard.

Or what you really want to ask is "How to I clear the main counter stored on the NVRAM"

Thats actually quite easy. You press and hold the reset button while power up and when you get to trouble reset you press stop and hold reset for at least 25 minutes. This will clear all counters.
.OK Google! ... will I need Berrocca this morning?
