    FS-533 7221 error on a C368

I've got a c368 indicating a false jam and giving a J72-21 code, which indicates a blocked surface detect sensor/1 (PS102). There is nothing in the way (no paper), and the flag moves freely. The sensor changes state in Sensor Check. The finisher tray does not attempt to move up or down on reboot, nor does the Paper surface detect sensor/2 (PS104) flag, or the "claws" that touch the top of the stack when the paper rests in the tray.

Service manual suggests checking the sensor, the paper exit motor (M102), and the FS control board (FSCB)

I have checked that the sensor changes state, and have tried a different (but not new) motor and FSCB.

Software version is G00-K6. Total copies is 21931.

    Any ideas?

By the way, the copier works fine with the finisher removed.

depending on the finisher, there is an extra guide that goes on the bridge unit. see if its there.
nevermind wrong finisher. had one recently that i was thinking of.
    sorry.

Something like this maybe?: FS-533 "Remove paper from finisher tray"

    =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
