    C554e with C2152 error

    I have this machine with this error code. Originally, the code would set only on color printing but, now, it is constant. I have replaced the fuser drive unit (That is where the motor and clutch are), PRCB board, power supply unit and HV unit. All with no change. Looking for some insight into this.

    I think C2152 for ITB retract problem.
    Try to clean retract sensor and check retract mechanism.

    this is also a "rank B" error code, so you need to open and close the lower front door to reset it.

    Detection timing • The 1st transfer pressure sensor (PS39) does not detect “switch from retraction to pressure” within a given
    period time after 1st transfer pressure clutch (CL5) has stared engagement.
    • The 1st transfer pressure sensor (PS39) is unblocked after the laps of given time after the 1st transfer
    pressure clutch (CL5) turned OFF when the pressing operation is finished.
    • The 1st transfer pressure sensor (PS39) does not detect “switch from pressure to retraction” within a given
    period time after 1st transfer pressure clutch (CL5) has stared engagement.
    • The 1st transfer pressure sensor (PS39) is blocked after the lamps of given time after the 1st transfer
    pressure clutch (CL5) turned OFF when the release operation is finished.

    No, I have not. It is a wiring issue as I am losing voltage to the relays.

    Replace the transfer belt unit!

    Remove the transfer belt and clean the sensor.
