    From the manual....

    In the communication check
    between the image processing
board (IPB) and the printer control
board (PRCB), an error is detected
from PRCB. Or transmission is not
    completed.

    Corrective action.......

    Overall control board
    (OACB)
    Printer control board (PRCB)
    Loose connection

I would start with reseating all of the relevant connections.

I don't mean to be rude or mean but you should call a qualified technician. You've posted 8 new threads in the last day and a half. We technicians have mouths to feed, kids to clothe and mortgages to pay just like anyone else.

We would love to call a technician but we are so fed up with all the local techs around here. If you know of anybody that works on Konica Minolta, Xerox, and Canon on the side we would be more than happy to pay them. We had somebody that fixed all our machines before on the side and he was the best tech ever. But most of the time we call the local service companies they take like 2 weeks to come to fix the machine. The couple different Xerox techs we have had are just useless so incompetent. The last Xerox tech that came to our place was going through the service manual page by page that same thing we could do he absolutely did not know the machine. When he was finished he said the 2 machines were unrepairable and gave us a bill for $170 each machine. After that we did some research and found the only thing wrong with one of them was that it needed to be plugged into the network and it worked perfect. The other problem is we have 30 machines that need to be fixed most of these local companies will only fix one a day when they finally show up.

Exactly my point, fellow techs. In a previous post he asked for a tech in the area to service his equipment And way to revert to 8th grade problem resolution with the name calling.

Anyway, here's a list of dealers that service your zip code. I'm sure any of them would love to pick up your account. Hopefully you haven't had bad experiences with them all. Good luck.

Most of them don't want to help us because we don't want a service contract. THis is why we were trying to find a techincian to work for us on the side.

All certified techs sign an agreement not to compete with their employer. So if you find sombody to " work on your stuff on the side " you already know he's not honest ! good luck to you !
