Biz 223 export / import address book?

Can you export the address book for a Biz 223 and import to a C224?

Pagescope utility is the only way. The export/import function will not export the password in the of SMB or FTP scanning. The file will be saved as a tab delimited text file. This can be open in Excel, or most any other spreadsheet, and edited very easily. Remove all info not needed. You can input the password at this time and import the passwords, again it just will not export the passwords.

The Pagescope Enterprise Suite I believe has the ability to copy the address book from one machine to another through the network. Both machines and the computer running the software must be on the same network. The base component of the software is free. It does take a little time to get it up and running properly, but can save some time when there is a lot of machines to be changed at the same time.

Put both machines on network you can transfer the address to the new machine never had a problem with the passwords doing a transfer. Multi device

If you set SW 72 to HEX 04 you then get the option in admin settings to import/export the address book using a usb flash drive, you have the option to choose what you want to import/export.

That soft switch I believe only works with the "4" series machines and newer.
