    Zombie threads

To those posting from old threads.
It is much better to create a new thread with your issue, rather than resurrecting an older thread. Even if it is a similar problem.
Read and get all the info from those old threads, but if they don't give you the answers start a new one.
Maybe I am alone in this, but I don't have the time to go through pages of questions and answers.
    Just start a new thread.
    Thanks.

    Re: Zombie threads

Every forum I've ever been on seems to have this problem no matter the rules etc. Burnt me out on being an admin.

Too many people and not enough common sense to go around.

Fabulous - exactly what I was thinking - in the diary...

Although thought it best to wait a few says before replying...

That said, guilty as charged me lud.

There are some of us on here who are mad enough or skint enough to be using machines that are 10 years old and those "Zombie threads" are helpful when we hit one of those curve ball issues that were common back in the day. But what I have found is that after wading through the pages desperate to find that morsel of inspiration - past all the irrelevant back stabbing - only to find that after discovering that post with the list of really helpful advice, you don't know which of their suggestions actually solved the issue because the initial poster didn't bother to finish off or say thanks. So yes I have on occasions posted our answer on threads that were started eons ago

    See you next year....
