We picked up a KM Bizhub C554 which has Equitrac installed.
Is there a procedure to remove the software. Have searched hi and low.
Any help appreciated.

turn off vendor mode in stop 9
Equitrac is just a 3rd party software, you can disable the authentication requirements by going on to admin mode and turning user authentication to off. This will not remove the app itself. If you are a KM dealer or direct you should have access to the Open API tool which can be used to safely remove any leftover remnants of the App. A HDD format should do the trick as well. The vendor modes posted suggestion is probably referring to disabling the card reader if installed and is done in the billing settings, not vendor mode. Emujo
In the few cases, I've formatted the drive and reloaded firmware. Good as new. =^..^=

1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Enter service mode then Stop 9 as mentioned above. I forget which options are there but I believe it is easy enough to figure out once there.
