Hi!
Between Canon devices this old dog come to me. It needs a new drum. (drum light). Can anyone post the part number and, if necessary, how to reset the drum.
I can make it up with Canon or Kyocera documentation.
Thanks!

blast from the past.
i remember just resetting the drum counter and adjusting F3 and F5 for exposure unless it was damaged.
when running the F5 i think you use light blue paper on the glass and that helped avoid background when cheating the counter.
im pretty sure the part# is 1139-0292-01 and the blade is 1139-5711-17
Thanks man!
Can you post in my PM precedure for service mode please and step to resetting counter? A'm not even close with Minolta.

been about 12 years since i even touched one.
i remember reset the counters, replace DV and drum, run F8 then F5 and see how it looks.
been too long, id have to be in front of one to jog anything else from my brain
You maybe know if the counter is reset when you replace the entire drum unit? I assume drum unit is not service part if the user can replace himself. The bigger problem is...... probably obsolete unit.

no, the counter has to be manually reset.
