We rebuild our drum units for both.
The drum cylinder is the same.
The cleaning blade is the same, but on the 4's they have pads at the ends, so we are just ordering the 4 blade for both series to stock one part.
KTN has chargers for each. They are different, and a MUST to get OEM quality results.
Of course you have to chip them with their respective chips.
Transfer belt assy's, belts & blades to rebuild them are all different.
Dev's are sold as different, but the gram weight is the same, and
GET THIS:
We mistakenly used all 3 colors c364 DV in a C220 and it worked. We got a magenta high TCR code a few days later, but we have had intermittently with c220 DV reset chips lately, and going back with an OEM good TCR fixed it. So we are of strong opinion that the DV is the same, but remember the 4 series has dev in the toner, constantly replenishing and purging for longer DV life vs. a c220.
For fun try a DV-110 on the C224's with the grooved mag rollers.
