..... what the hell is the purpose of the orange led indicator above the blue one at the left front side on most bizhubs?
Customer called me that the orange indicator is steady on though the machine is working well.

About This Machine
A tree is known by its fruit, a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost, he who sows courtesy, reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love.
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.
I don't reply to private messages from end users.
Preventive maintenance message will turn ON orange light and machine will run without problem.
If the orange LED is lit, there is going to be some sort of message on the copier screen. Tell your customer to watch the screen for a short bit, might be just one message, or could be multiple which copier will display 1 at a time generally. Without knowing model, it's hard to say where to look, but generally near the top left on the screen.
As REGSIS stated, most likely cause is some sort of PM message.

My Ricoh knowledge is slowly dwindling away at this point. Many things have been lost to time...
Thanks guys. It's a BH-363 and I shouldn't be so lazy but go to the customer and see what's going on...... Could imagine that the image unit is near the end of its life. If only they where no so far away from my office......

SW 51 F0 and 55 0C will help with the warning lights.
And P or L code will cause that.
