    Squeak C360

We have a c360 that had a very annoying loud squeak at the end of the warm up sequence and at the end of a copy cycle.I noticed various threads. After we got it back in the workshop striped it and spent a day swopping bits we finally tracked to the fuser pressure release motor.Part no A0EDR72400.Its fairly easy to get to from the back.Hope this is of use.We all know the time you can spend trying to track these things down.

A drop of oil does the trick. We had many refurbs go out with this squeak because our setup guys couldn't figure it out. I became determined to find it because it was embarrassing to demo in front of customer.

If you shim the two screws closest to you on the bracket that holds the fuser pressure retraction motor with very thin washers it stops this high pitched squeal. No need to replace the motor.
