I have a customer that wishes to scan to email using gmail SMTP, so far their IT have been unable to achieve this. Does the C25 support SSl required for gmail scanning?

it does not.
it only supports webDAV over HTTP (with no SSL req)
time to upgrade
or scan to folder and email it from the PC.
