a word to the wise
if you are getting paper skewing from the large capacity tray...
both drawers...
check the paper path door on the right leading from the unit...
if you see plastic dust everywhere...
all the rollers are shifting to one side...
and are being sheared of plastic...
one of the door hinges is bent...
sure sign... the rear spring that is part of the rear hinge does not look straight...
door skews
paper skews
you think its springs and stuff...
just replace or straighten rear hinge...
on the lct right door...

also sometimes that guide section above tray 3 and 4... the plastic gets warped... or has issues... and needs to be replaced... had that happen to me once...

Hi guys how do I stop this from happening? Every time the customer opens the tray, the paper will slam down and cause the cable jump out of the pulley.

or the hooks on door that keep door closed are snapped

Hi guys how do I stop this from happening? Every time the customer opens the tray, the paper will slam down and cause the cable jump out of the pulley.

I've just been putting small strips of mylar on the pulleys to prevent it from happening. Done it numerous times over the years with no call backs related to that issue.
